Enerbol-Pyritinol 100 mg, 100 pills
Reported to activate brain metabolism by enhancing cerebral blood flow. According to animal studies increase of endogenous acetylcholine in cortex and striatum. Clinical trials in cerebrovascular insufficiency, but the results of these studies not found.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
Insomnia can occasionally take place during treatment. Should this occur, do not take this product at night.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEDICINES:
Not described.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
On very rare occasions, allergic reactions to pyritinol have been observed (mild skin reactions). Patients with a history of allergies should take this product with caution.
FOR EXPECTANT OR NURSING MOTHERS:
No reliable data is available concerning the administration of pyritinol during pregnancy and nursing. Nonetheless, taking Enerbol/Pyritinol is not recommended at this time.
EFFECTS ON THE PATIENT'S CAPACITY TO DRIVE OR OPERATE MACHINERY:
Not described.
IN CASE OF OVERDOSE OR INTOXICATION:
In the event of accidental or intentional overdose, we recommend taking the customary medical measures, namely gastric lavage, using a saline purgative, and clinical supervision.
